Everything we paint, what it roughly costs, and how the process works. No mystery, no mid-job surprises.
Interiors, exteriors, roofs and everything the climate throws at them. Every exterior job in this province lives or dies on preparation — so that's where every quote starts.
Walls, ceilings, doors and trim with proper prep — patching, sanding, priming. Low-odor paints available so bedrooms are usable the same night.
Pressure wash, stucco crack repair, alkaline sealer and two coats of UV-resistant acrylic — the system that survives Guanacaste sun and salt air.
Zinc and metal roofs cleaned, rust-treated and coated with heat-reflective paint. Cooler interiors and years more roof life.
Hairline cracks, moisture blisters and salitre damage repaired properly before paint goes on — paint over damage and it's back in months.
Elastomeric coatings for exposed walls, anti-humidity treatments for interiors that grow mold every green season.
Fast, tidy repaints between tenants or before peak season. We work around bookings and leave the place photo-ready.
Three forces work on every painted wall in this province. UV: eight months of near-vertical sun chalks and fades cheap acrylics in two to three years. Salt: within a couple of kilometers of the ocean, airborne salt feeds salitre — the white bloom that pushes paint off the base of walls from inside the stucco. Water: five months of rain finds every unsealed crack, and green-season humidity grows mold on shaded walls and interior ceilings. A paint system matched to your exposure — sealer, quality acrylic or elastomeric, proper prep — is the difference between repainting in year two and repainting in year seven.
Honest ranges, not quotes — surface condition, height and access move the number. But they'll tell you instantly whether any quote you're holding is reasonable:
After a free visit you get a firm written quote, itemized. If a wall only needs washing instead of repainting, we'll say so.
Send photos of the walls and rough sizes. We'll give you a preliminary range and schedule a free on-site visit.
We measure, check surface condition, and hand you a written itemized quote — prep, materials, labor, timeline.
Floors and furniture protected, site cleaned daily, and a written warranty when we're done. Pay by SINPE Móvil, card or cash.
For a single-level home of 150–200 m², a complete exterior job — pressure wash, prep, sealer and two coats — lands in the ballpark of $2,000–3,500. Interior work runs roughly $4–7 per m² of wall with labor and standard paint. A full villa inside and out starts around $4,000.
Yes — always free, always in person, always written. We measure, check the surfaces, and hand you an itemized quote covering prep, materials and labor. The number doesn't change mid-job.
Within about 2 km of salt air: an alkaline-resistant sealer plus UV-stable 100% acrylic, or an elastomeric coating on exposed walls. It adds 15–25% to the paint cost and roughly doubles the repaint cycle.
Dry season (December–April) is ideal for exteriors. But exteriors can be painted in the green season too — mornings are usually dry — and interiors are a year-round job. Don't wait five months with a peeling wall.
Yes. Zinc and metal roofs get cleaned, treated with rust converter and coated with heat-reflective paint — from around $800 for a typical home. It cools the house noticeably and adds years to the roof.
